 The Q´ente award, offered by the Cusco Commerce and Tourism Regional Office (Dircetur) and SGS international certifiers, is the maximum prize awarded at regional level to companies, people and organizations in the tourism industry that have the best quality in tourism services, business management, as well as social and environmental responsibility. Winners of this award are considered to be leaders in the industry and examples worth following.

 The objective of this award is to promote and encourage the adoption of excellent procedures and corporate responsibility, improve the tourist experience to strengthen the Cusco brand, and reduce poverty.
