BOLIVIA
Day 1
Flight to Rurrenabaque. Trip through Reyes and Santa Rosa, enter the Yacuma river with a rich gallery forest and fauna. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2
Boat trip seeing the mammals like: river dolphins, monkeys, turtles, capybaras and caimans, as well as good birding like the macaws. Trip back to Rurrenabaque. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3
Boat trip in the Beni and Tuichi rivers to Chalalan. Walk through the forest to the lodge, lunch and rest. Afternoon to learn of Madidi NP and the project of the community. Trek through the Chichilo and Mirador trails focusing the field of construction. Dinner and trek to see the night wildlife.
Day 4
Trek in the Silbador, Mutua and Anta trails to see the fields of fruit, medicinal and exotic plants. Lunch and time to swim in the lagoon. In the afternoon you'll enjoy didactic games or see the bibliography of the project. Then trek in the Wichi and Jaguar trails and focus the area of artisan plants and also enjoy birdwatching. After dinner, traditional histories and legends of San Jose de Uchupiamonas.
Day 5
Trek the Wabucuru and Marimono trails, focusing in ecological processes, wildlife and visit small ruins. Good options to see wild animals, return to Chalalan. After dinner other games related with biodiversity and memory, associate with Chalalan.
Day 6
Early breakfast and departure, hiking to the port in the Tuichi river and then boat downstream the Beni river to Rurrenabaque (3 hours). Flight to La Paz with both transfers.
Day 1
Flight to Rurrenabaque, a nice tropical Amazon town in the shores of the Beni river, meeting to learn about your program and object of the Chalalan project, afternoon free to enjoy this cheery town. (LD)
Day 2
Boat trip in the Beni and Tuichi rivers to Chalalan. Walk through this rich forest to the lodge, lunch and time to rest. Afternoon to learn of Madidi NP and the project of the community. Trip through the Amazon plains and last branches of the Andes range. Visit Samaipata ruins, majestic and mysterious pre-Inca ruins, located in the top of a hill with a big ceremonial center carved in the stones. Finally to Samaipata, a stroll of town and its local museums. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2
Morning trip through Mairana to La Yunga in the Amboro NP with a great giant fern forest. Walk through its trails to see a reach and diverse jungle. Return to Samaipata, lunch and trip back to Santa Cruz. Overnight in hotel
Day 1
Departure to Serranía Volcanes, a two-hour trip. Arrive at Refugio Volcanes, with comfortable infrastructure hidden in a deep valley surrounded by tropical forests and crystalline waterfalls. Hiking paths with interpretation / observation of a great diversity of orchids and bromeliads. Also, animals in the natural environment.
Day 2
Early in the morning you may enjoy bird watching previously coordinated with a local guide. After breakfast, departure to El Fuerte near Samaipata, a tour lasting approximately 2 hours. Lunch in town and registration at the hotel. Visit to a museum and surrounding areas.
Day 3
Breakfast in town and departure to La Yunga, 30 kilometers from Samaipata. Hike approximately one-and–a- half hours through the giant fern forest. Return to Santa Cruz with a stop in Samaipata for lunch.
