Day 1 Puno - Copacabana - Sun Island
Pick up from hotel in Puno / Peru and take hydrofoil cruise to visit the floating islands of the Uros. Continue to Copacabana and visit the most important religious shrine in Bolivia. Hydrofoil to Moon Island for a visit to its dazzling `Iñak Uyu´ (Sun Virgins) temple. Cruise to Sun Island, visit the Pilcocaina Sun Temple and enjoy a soft trek to our eco friendly lodge `Posada del Inca´. Barbeque lunch. Meet with the community authorities and share with them the chewing of coca leaves during a bonfire with local music and dances. Candlelight dinner and overnight at Posada del Inca Eco Lodge.

Day 2 Sun & Moon Islands and Huatajata
Visit the Inca Steps and Sacred Springs, said to be a source of eternal youth and happiness. Lunch at the `Uma Kollo´ archaeologic and panoramic restaurant, attended by a native women. Enjoy a handicraft local market. Hydrofoil cruise to Huatajata harbor crossing through the Tiquina strait. Reception with local community music and enjoy a welcome drinks (handmade ceremonial Keru) on our Floating platform (drinks will come on reed boats - Open Bar). Night visit to the `Mystic World of the Kallawayas´ (natural medicine doctors and coca leaf fortune tellers). Private meetings with Tata Lorenzo (Huatajata Kallawaya). Romantic candlelit dinner with local folklore show. Night Alajpacha observatory visit (project supported by the Astronomical league - NASA). Overnight at Inca Utama Hotel & Spa.

Day 3 Kalauta Island & La Paz
Enjoy an authentic cross-cultural integration in the Andean Roots Eco Village: Meet the Limachi Brothers, builders of RA II & Tigris for Thor Heyerdhals´ epic expeditions and take part in a totora reed boat regatta. Visit the handicraft & fishermen villages, Urus Chipayas mud igloos and floating islands, a chicha (corn beer) factory, etc. Hydrofoil cruise to Kalauta Island, visit the ruins of an ancient Stone Village and the largest Necropolis in the area with its mysterious `Chullpas´- mortuary towers, several of them with two and three platforms. Share an `Aptapi´ (Andean Ecological Picnic) with the natives. Return to Huatajata and continue by land to La Paz. Afternoon city tour of La Paz and Moon Valley. La Paz is known as the `City of Contrasts´ as it is a unique blend of cultures and races, located within breathtaking panoramas. This special visit includes native, colonial and modern areas, the Indian Market, the open air museum of Tiwanacu, the Witch Doctor's Market and the Moon Valley. Dinner at the hotel with a unique wine tasting of our `High Altitude grapes´. Overnight.

Day 4 Tiwanacu Ruins & La Paz by night
Half day tour to the Tiwanacu ruins. During its splendor, Tiwanaku was the largest city in the world and it is considered to be `the Cradle of the American Civilizations´. The Sun Gate, the Monoliths, the temples of Kalasasaya and Kontiki, the Akapana artificial pyramid and their metal and ceramic art work, are some examples of the advanced development achieved by this culture. Lunch at a typical restaurant in the city. Rest of day at leisure for shopping or exploring La Paz city by night including visits to the `Paco Bocaccio´ and `Rock House´ night clubs.

Day 5 La Paz
Transfer to the airport to take your return flight home or to make other connections.
