DAY 1 / LA PAZ
Upon arrival reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 / LA PAZ
Half day tour to the city and the Moon Valley. (B)
DAY 3 / LA PAZ - SUCRE - POTOSI
Transfer to the airport to board flight to Sucre (2,790 m. - 9,148 ft.). On arrival, visit the Church and Monastery of La Recoleta, San Felipe de Neri, the House of Independence and the University Museum. Sucre, the political capital, is the best showcase of colonial architecture in Bolivia with its white colored and red tilled roofs. Late two hour drive to Potosi. (B)
DAY 4 / POTOSI - SUCRE
Morning excursion to a silver and tin mine inside the famous Cerro Potosi silver mountain. The mines have been exploited since colonial times and are still an important economic activity for the nation. In the afternoon, sightseeing of Potosi, visiting the churches of San Bernardo and San Lorenzo, The Jesuit Tower and the Cobija Archeological Museum. Late return to Sucre by road. (B)
DAY 5 / SUCRE
Full day excursion to the Village of Tarabuco to visit the Sunday Indian Market of Yampara. Weaving from this region is a renewed craft and preserves all its tradition and history. (B, L)
DAY 6 / SUCRE - LA PAZ
Transfer to the airport to board flight to La Paz and assistance for international flight connection. (B)
