Morning departure from Cuiabá hotels for a visit to the outstanding park of Chapada dos Guimarães away 67 kilometers and it is detached by its rain and wind’s craved mountain streams and its valleys covered by the exuberant vegetation, within the special characteristics of Cerrado ecosystem region. The large number of cascades of fresh mineral water surprises its visitors. The tour is an unique opportunity to register all this beauty on photos or filming. Meanwhile, a regional food’s lunch will be served on a panoramic restaurant with sights to the park, on a bucolic relaxation environment.

The tour starts where the participants will be driven through the main geographical, cultural and ethnical places in Cuiabá-also called the green city. Settled by the “Bandeirantes” (the first continent’s explorers in Brazil) amongst them Portuguese, natives, Libanese, and other. The tour continues its visits to the Matriz church and the local at Morro da Luz. After this stop, the tour will head to the Casa do Rodeio and then to the Museu de Pedra Ramir Bucair (stone sculptures). Afterwords, the tour will lead to the Casa da Cultura de Cuiabá and the native’s cultural center. Other interesting point of visiting is the Centro Geodésico Sul Americano (Geodesical landmark) located at the Municipal Assembly Hall. Then, the tour will be passing through Casa do Artesão (handicraft house), Museum and House of the Guaraná, and the River´s museum with its aquarium.  The tour ends visiting the local zoo. Return to the hotels.

Morning departure from Cuiaba to drive along a 100 kilometers of the Pantantal region to the former gold-prospectors town of “Poconé”, the last town before entering the Pantanal itself. The trip continues to the so-called “Transpantaneira! Highway – a dirty-road of 40 kilometers and an excellent opportunity to observe the rich and varied fauna and flora of the Pantanal basin. A stop for lunch with specialties of the local cuisine at the Araras Eco Lodge and after that the participants will be lead to the Bugio tower, a special structure designed to allow bird observation. Return to Cuiabá at the end of the afternoon.
