GÁVEA GOLF CLUB COURSE – Rio de Janeiro Property of the one of the most traditional golf clubs in Brazil and with a golf course conceived by an original idea of directors and technicians of The Light Corporation in the 20´s decade of the 20th Century, the Gávea Golf Club track is one of the most requested golf courses in Latin America.  With a men’s handicap of 24 and women’s of 28, and with a 18 mixed difficulty holes course with strategic sand traps and lakes that, distributed in six par 3 holes, seven par 4, and four par 5, the course detaches by the surrounding beauties that Rio de Janeiro and the Gávea district offers to the players. The golf course is private but also receives guest players from Sunday to Friday (except holidays). The golf course has caddies and club’s bag at disposal for rental and also special green fee rate for guests from hotels: Copacabana Palace and Intercontinental Rio. - Golf carts are not available for guests.      


Detailed Itinerary:


Day 1

Arrival at Rio de Janeiro´s International airport and transfer to selected hotel. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day to rest from the jet leg.

Dinner and overnight at hotel. 


Day 2

Breakfast at hotel.
Am: Departure from hotel to the Gávea Golf Club. Arriving at the club, introductory and technical specification of the course, followed by golf activities, as per club time schedule. Return to hotel. 
In the evening departure from hotel for a nice dinner at Copacabana or Ipanema area.

Overnight at hotel. 


Day 03

Breakfast at hotel.
Am: Departure from hotel to the Gávea Gold Club for golf activities. Return to hotel after course.

Late afternoon departure from hotel for an interesting visit to the Sugar Loaf for a sunset visit, followed by a delicious dinner at Mariu´s Crustáceos restaurant located at Atlântica Avenue – Leme Beach.

Overnight at hotel. 


Day 4

Breakfast at hotel.
Am: departure transfer from hotel to Angra dos Reis. Novo Frade Resort Hotel (or to any other hotel). Arrival at hotel and check in. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the resort and relax at the pool or at the beach.

Dinner and overnight at hotel.  


Day 5

Breakfast at hotel.
Golf activities during the day.

Dinner and overnight at hotel. 


Day 06

Breakfast at hotel.
Golf activities during the day.

Dinner and overnight at hotel. 


Day 07

Breakfast at hotel.
Check out at hotel. Departure transfer from hotel ending at Rio´s International Airport for your international departure flight.
