This rafting day takes place in Ponte Coberta, a 60 minute scenic drive  up the mountains of Rio. The full day River Rafting begins at 7:00 AM when participants will be met at the lobby of the hotel and directed to board the waiting buses. After a 60-minute drive, Ribeirão das Lages is reached, where participants will board Zephyr boats and will, after a short spell of calm waters, face a sequence of several rapid and short falls, taking 2 to 3 hours to complete the river expedition. This part of the tour poses no safety hazard and all tour members will  wear a safety helmet and flotation  jacket. A special feature of this tour is definitely also the vegetation and trees of the river bank. With luck and depending on the time of the year, one will be able to spot birds like: wild duck, heron, steam launch, sparrow-hawk, and others.  This tour has a perfect combination of fun, nature and Brazilian landscape.
