Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro - Sugar Loaf (D)

Upon arrival, our collaborators offer a welcoming reception and will transfer you to the hotel. A documentation kit, detailed program explanation plus luggage and hotel registration assistance is offered. Rest of the day at leisure to rest from the jet lag. By the end of the afternoon, you will be taken to the Urca´s district and specifically to the Praia Vermelha, where is located the Sugar Loaf´s cable ferry station, the initial spot to ascend to it. There are two stages, the first from Praia Vermelha to the Urca´s Station, and the second from Urca to the Sugar Loaf´s top (at 396 meters). At the top, the view of the center downtown, beaches and the meeting of Guanabara´s bay and the ocean waters are simply superb. Once at the top we will taste the famous Brazilian drink ‘Caipirinha’, with the sunset and the lightning of the city. Then proceed back to Red Beach station to embark the coach for our welcome dinner.

Day 02
Corcovado & Floresta Tijuca (B/L/D)

After breakfast, depart on board of 4x4 jeep transportation for visit to the Corcovado, going up and down with the train having the possibility of seeing a little of the Biggest urban forest in the world – Tijuca Forest, after visit we will take the train back to Paineiras, where the jeeps will be waiting, to drive us up to Santa Teresa – the Interesting district located up the hills, which is linked to downtown area by trams and Some mini buses. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, return to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, departure from hotel for a typical carioca meal.

Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. 


Day 03
Full Day Petropolis (B/L/D)

By mid morning departure from the hotel to visit the Imperial city of Petropolis, located around 01.30 hr drive from Rio. Arriving at Petropolis, a stop at the Imperial Museum will be made.
After a stop for lunch, we will visit the Cathedral, another mark of the Imperial period. After visit, the coach will be waiting at the side area to take us to the beautiful Crystal Palace. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. 


Day 04
Botanical Garden (B/L/D)

 In the morning, departure from hotel for a visit to the interesting Botanical Garden, where we will be lectured by an expert about the garden, its plants and flowers. A stop will be made at the children´s park to taste typical Brazilian fruit juices. Departing for lunch to a local restaurant where you will taste the typical food from Minas state based on pork, bean and rice and delicious sweets made of fruits of the region. In the evening you will enjoy a gala dinner and a folkloric show.

Day 05
Buzios by Trolley (B/L/D)

Check out and departure to Buzios – 185 km from Rio de Janeiro – 03 hr drives from Hotel. By lunch time arrival at the peninsula and check in at the hotel. After lunch, departure for a sightseeing tour on boad the Buzios Trolley which is the best way of knowing the peninsula. We will make a wonderful tour in the main beaches and belvederes, and be sure that it will be unforgettable. The Trolley is completely open providing you a view without "frames" and you can feel the smell of the sea, the pure air, the wind and everything you need to have a feeling of real contemplation of the most beautiful and hardly ever visited places in Buzios. We guarantee that you will be delighted! You will have time to take pictures and to swim in a beach. At the end of the tour we can leave you at your hotel or at down town. Dinner at a local restaurant where you will have an excellent meat in a very Argentinean cut.

Day 06
Buggy Adventure (B/L/D)

In the morning departure from hotel for a buggy adventure, along some of the beaches and dunes, stopping in one of the beaches for relaxing break on the sand and a nice box lunch with sandwiches, fruits sweets, caipirinha, local beer, soft drinks and mineral water. In the evening departure from hotel for a luau at Tartaruga beach, where you will enjoy a tropical cocktail party at the beach, and a nice dinner based on fresh fish from the area.

Day 07
Boat Cruise ((B/L/D)

Boat cruise along the most beautiful beaches of Buzios departing from Praia da Armação and Ossos, the cruise lasts about 2:30 h, passing by several beaches and islands around the peninsula of Búzios. The tours are done in schooners and fishing boats and it has a stop for swimming. We will enjoy a nice lunch in one of the beaches. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening a 3 Course meal at a local restaurant.

Day 08
International Departure Flight (B)

At scheduled time transfer to the airport to board your international departure flight.
