The tour will start by passing along the called “city ring” – net of avenues of the central Curitiba, and a special focus over the Marechal Deodoro avenue, main economical and commercial point of the city. The tour will follow to some of the most important streets of the city, such as Flores street and 24 hours street – that is opened 24 hours a day, with lots of cultural and services offer. The tour also passes near to the magnificent Guaira Theatre, the Federal University of Paraná, and the unique Neoclassical Palace. The tour will have also a mandatory stop at some of the most important buildings of the city, including the Civil Center, the City Council Building, the Governor´s Iguaçu Palace, Councilors Hall and Justice Court. The tour will continue by passing along the Opera do Arame, Paulo Leminsky Quarry, City’s council Theatre, Environmental University, the Tingui and Tangua Park, the Knowledge Lighthouse, and the famous districts libraries. At the end of the tour, time available visit the Town Clock ( Clock of the flowers), Curitiba Memorial and Botanical Garden. Afterwards return to the hotel.
Departure from hotel in Curitiba at 08:00 am, with destination to Pontal do Paraná, arrival at the Harbor Crossing Boat Terminal at 10:00 am, the estimated time for harbor crossing is 30 minutes (2,5 miles) and the boats leave every 30 minutes during the summer season and extended weekend holidays. Out of the summer season boats departure to the island every our. Points of interest: Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres Fortress, built in 1767 by order of the King of Portugal Dom Jose, to protect the harbor. Sao Francisco chapel, a small chapel built next to the holly cross, which keeps in its interior several images, being the biggest devotion dedicated to Sao Francisco de Assis, protector of the animals. The chapel is located on the top of Nha Pina Hill (151 meters above the sea level). Seashell lighthouse, located on top of the Seashell Hill, built in 1872 by order of the Brazilian Emperor Dom Pedro II, to guide sailors in the Paranagua Harbor. Arrival at the island of the Fishermen’s Village Dock of Nova Brasilia. Visit to the Lighthouse Beach (Praia do Farol), located 10 minutes walking from Nova Brasilia. Lunch at a local restaurant in the Nova Brasilia Village (meals are not included). Visit to the Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres Fortress (40 minutes walk). Free time in the afternoon to enjoy the beaches and walk through the ecological trails of the island. 5:30 pm return to Nova Brasilia docks for harbor crossing to Pontal do Parana boat terminal. Transfer to hotel in Curitiba.
Morning departure to an amazing tour, starting a bus transfer to the neighbour state of Santa Catarina via highway Br-101 to the city on Joinvile, one of the most important cities of the state. Joinvile is a city colonized by German, Swiss and Norwegian immigrants. During the tour in Joinvile passengers will see some points of interest such as, city entrance gate, The Palm trees Street, the Diocesan Cathedral, Municipal Market, the flag square with its immigrant memorial, and other places of tourist interest. Proceeding to the city of BLUMENAU, the most German city of Brazil, a typical meal will be served at a local restaurant, and sightseeing tour will be done after that. Transfer to the beach resort of CAMBORIU, the most famous resort of southern Brazil. Passengers will visit the main beaches of Camboriu, including the famous scenic beach of Laranjeiras with its marvelous sightseeing cable car. Return to Curitiba early in the evening.
The tour will start by transferring the participants to the Paranaguá City via highway Graciosa. Visit of the colonial style houses, Itibere River, Churches and Museum. Return to Morretes, lunch, the restaurant menu is based on seafood and the famous typical local dish, the Barredo. After lunch, visit Morretes, transfer to the Railroad Station of Morretes for departure in tourist class train with destination to the City of Curitiba with duration time of approximately 3:30 hours. Arrival at the railroad station in the City of Curitiba and transfer to hotel.
This lovely tour will start from hotels to the Railroad Train Station of Curitiba, to get the Tourist Train that will lead the participants to the city of Morretes. The trip will cross along the awesome Serra do Mar with its magnificent Atlantic type forest and get in a dream landscape of tunnels, bridges and green large narrows. This centennial railroad, one of the highlights of the Great Architecture in Brazil, allows the participants in unforgettable sights of the luxurious cascades that exists on large number all over the track, and enjoy also the breathtaking nature that composes the Brazilian native forest. After the drop in the historical city of Morretes, a beautiful panoramically sight of the Paranagua Bay can be enjoyed. At this destination the participants will encounter some peculiar architecture on the houses and buildings, and used nowadays as shops on the local handicraft commerce. The lunch will be served on a panoramical restaurant, nearby the Nhundiaquara’s River, that slopes slowly through the pleasant mountain’ s valleys. After lunch, the return to Curitiba will be made by vehicle.
This magnificent tour allows the participants to visit Ponta Grossa and the beautiful State Park of Vila Velha and Furnas. The tour Hill follows its course to the Castro district, a very particular place where the Dutch influence is strongly evident. At this district, the lunch will be served and after there will be visits to the Dutch immigrant’s museum and to the Dutch Mill, a very typical copy of this kind of building, very representative of Netherlands. Before returning, the tour will made a stop at the Castrolanda cooperative to visit and afterwards immediate return to Curitiba in the end of the afternoon.
