CHILE
Departure from your hotel heading towards Nueva Imperial only 35 kilometers to the west of Temuco. The community has one of the largest concentrations of native people in the area, a great alternative for tourists that want to get to know the Mapuche culture, language, lifestyle, handicrafts and other ancestral customs of this village. You will have the opportunity to meet the Lilche tribe where we will have lunch in an ancient ruca.
From Temuco we head to the north east of the IX region towards the coastal range and in only 157km find ourselves in the Nahuelbuta National Park, with a surface area of 6,832 hectares and full of well marked walking trails from where you can get beautiful views of the coastal range. The Tuberas area is worth a visit and is a good place to see native forest and the Anay Hill where we can see the Chillan Volcano all the way to the Villarrica Volcano. A picnic lunch in the exuberant beauty of the forests of the Araucaria tree, oaks, coigües and surrounded by bird life such as the Churrín, Chucao and the Black woodpecker, now an endangered specie.
