Discover  Chiclayo:  All  the  majesty  of  the  Lord  of  Sipan  and  the Mochica world,  the  dazzling  pre-Columbian  culture which  art  has been compared with the Ramses II royal tomb.
Going south, Trujillo, colonial capital of the spring season, is waiting for you with flowers and a delicate gastronomy rich  in seafood and fishes.  A  few  steps more  and  you will  find  Chan  Chan,  one  of  the largest  mud  cities  in  the  world  and  the  huacas (pyramids) dedicated to the Sun and to the Moon, impressive testimonies of the Moche culture.


Detailed Itinerary:


Day 1
Arrival in Chiclayo – Valley of the Pyramids of Tucume and Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum (-)


Upon arrival to Chiclayo, reception by our representatives and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will drive to Tucume, the famous Valley of Pyramids, impressive complex conformed by 26 adobe pyramids which were the political and religious center of the Lambayeque culture. To close the day with a treat, you will enjoy a visit to Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, where you can see the pieces of the treasure that belonged to the Lord of Sipan. Overnight in Chiclayo.


Day 2
Departure to Trujillo – Chan Chan Complex (B)


At the scheduled time, departure to Trujillo by bus. In the afternoon, we will go to Chan Chan, the biggest and best preserved adobe city in the world. The old capital of the Chimú Kingdom, established in the Valley of Moche between the 12th and the 15th century, was the home of 60,000 people, expanding its area up to 20 square kilometers, from the port of Huanchaco all the way to Cerro Campana. Chan Chan is also called the City of the Moon or the City of the Long Walls. Overnight in Trujillo.


Day 3
City Tour, Temples of the Sun and the Moon – Return to Lima (B)


In the morning, we will visit Trujillo city, which displays beautiful houses from the Colonial and Republican times and the National University Museum, where you can see many interesting utensils from cultures of Northern Peru. Later, we will visit the famous Huacas (Temples) of the Sun and the Moon, where we will stop for a visit and appreciate the grandeur of this ceremonial place, decorated with carvings and multicolor friezes, the restoration work archaeologists are making is supported by private companies. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima.
