The tour ends with a visit to the Windows of Otuzco, ancient funerary center of the Cajamarca culture, built of quarried stone. First, we are taken to the ancient Three Mills hacienda, the Hortensias Garden and The Alps Estate, where we will taste different varieties of milk products and ride a Peruvian paso horse. Later we will take the swinging bridge over the Chonta River and then arrive at our final destination, the Windows of Otuzco.

The Cumbemayo Forest Park is a quiet Cajamarca spot characterized by its stone landscape in which, aided by the imagination, we can find various animals and figures made of stone. One of the most important public works in the area of Cumbemayo is the 3,000-year-old aqueduct carved in rock, which functioned to move the waters of the Pacific basin upward, to later descend into the Atlantic basin. We will also see the Sacrificial Stone, the Ceremonial Altars and the Sanctuary. This stone forest of is another attraction of the city of Cajamarca.

El Porcon Hacienda

We begin the tour leaving the city of Cajamarca in the direction of Porcon. On the way, we will visit the community of Huambocancha, where we see how the famous stonecutters carve marble, quarried stone and granite into beautiful shapes. Continuing on our trip, we finally come to Porcon farm, where we will hike through the woods and the park with deer and vicunas, and will see some species from different regions of the country, such as pumas, parrots, panthers, and others. We may also observe the process of milking cows while calling them by name. The tour of Porcon ends by taking a look at the mills and looms where local people demonstrate their skills.

The tour begins at the historic Central Plaza of the city of Cajamarca and the churches that surround it: San Francisco and the Cathedral. We then continue to the Rescue Room, where the Inca Atahualpa offered two rooms of silver and one of gold for his freedom. We then arrive to the Church of Bethlehem and the Medical, Ethnography and Archeology museums, to finally end the tour of Cajamarca by ascending the Santa Apolonia Hill, from where we can appreciate the green Cajamarca valley and the ancient ceremonial altar commonly known as the Chair of the Inca.
