Chinchero, Maras and Moray are on the road that links Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Departing from Cusco, we first visit the town of Chinchero, built on the foundations of what was the Royal Palace of Inca Túpac Yupanqui. In its market on Sundays, one can still see people meet to exchange goods under the barter system. After lunch, we continue the tour to the agricultural terraces of Moray, considered the botanical laboratory of the Incas, and end up in the town of Maras and a visit to its salt mines that have been used from the period of Inca rule to this day.
