Arequipa on wheels. We leave the city for the Arequipa countryside, including visits to Paucarpata, the Sabandía Mill and the Mansion of the Founder. During the cycling tour, we are able to enjoy the area’s countryside and pleasant weather.
From Cusco we go to the Incan town of Chinchero, where we will receive instructions before starting the bicycle trip to the village of Chequereq. On the road we’ll be able to see the stunning scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and its mountains. We then continue towards Moray and the town of Maras, where we’ll have lunch before beginning the descent to the salt mines. We then return to the hotel.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1
We depart from Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, from where we begin our descent on bicycles. After a brief stop for lunch, we continue on to Lares, where we enjoy a relaxing bath in its hot springs.
Day 2
We will travel a total of 78 km by bicycle to the town of Santiago, in the high jungle, where we’ll camp overnight.
Day 3
A day of rest to recoup our energy. We will take vehicles to Quellouno, where we’ll camp on the banks of the river.
Day 4
We get on our bicycles to begin the journey to Quillabamba, 98 kilometers away. Throughout the trip, we will have a support unit to assist anyone wishing to finish the route in vehicles.
Day 5
Return to the city of Cusco.
