Live the experience of traveling by boat through the jungle of Puerto Maldonado to the Tambopata National Reserve. We’ll be met upon our arrival in Puerto Maldonado and taken to the pier to board a canoe that will take us to the point where we board a catamaran.


Point 1: Lake Caoba

Upon our nighttime arrival, well have the chance to fish, view alligators or gaze at the stars. The next morning, well walk on Monkey Island to learn about their project to rescue these primates. After lunch, we’ll take the catamaran to Palma Real.

Point 2: Palma Real

Upon our nighttime arrival, well have the chance to fish, view alligators or gaze at the stars. The next morning, we’ll leave in kayaks on Palma Real creek to get to the river channel. After lunch, we’ll travel by catamaran to Gamitana.

Point 3: Gamitana

Upon our nighttime arrival, well have the chance to fish, view alligators or gaze at the stars. The next morning well leave in kayaks to visit Gamitana Island, where we’ll take a short hike. After lunch, we’ll travel by catamaran to Lake Sandoval.

Point 4: Lake Sandoval

Upon our nighttime arrival, well have the chance to fish, view alligators or gaze at the stars. The next morning, well hike on a trail to Lake Sandoval, in the Tambopata National Reserve, where we’ll enjoy its beautiful jungle scenery and lush ecosystem. After lunch, we’ll take a catamaran to Alto Loero.

Point 5: Alto Loero

Upon our nighttime arrival, well have the chance to fish, view alligators or gaze at the stars. The next morning, well take a hike to the Monte Alto Loero, where we have a 360-degree panoramic view of the jungle from a natural plateau. After lunch, we’ll travel by catamaran to Lake Caoba.
