PERU
Chan Chan is one of the most important archaeological sites in Peru, located in the northern coastal desert. Declared by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site, Chan Chan is the largest and most important city of mud surviving from pre-Hispanic America. Its palaces were built by a succession of rulers of this capital of the Chimú government. On this tour, we can see how people lived in this ancient culture, and visit the streets, canals, reservoirs, plazas and walled palaces of this great city.
